Biography

Miller was the RE/MAX world Long DriveCchampion for 2010. He became the second European to ever win the championships, and as such is regarded as the best long drive golfer in the world today.

At 6 ft 4 and 19 stone Miller represents a new breed of long drives built around strength speed and power. He also holds the world record for ball speed, at 225 mph. He won the championships with a 414-yard strike. Miller collected the $150,000 prize for winning the 2010 World Championships.

Miller's first sponsor in the sport was the brand Krank, but the sport and the athlete have grown in recent years and Miller went on to sign to Callaway Golf in 2012. He is now part of their research and development team and often tours with his sponsors attending exhibitions and various events. He uses the Official Driver of the LDA (Long Drivers of America), the Callaway X HOT 2 with a Fujikura XX Shaft and usually 3 degrees of loft.

Currently based at The Shire London golf club he uses these facilities to aid his needs whilst also working as a part-time gym trainer.

Miller won the 2010 REMAX World Long Drive Championship with a driver of 414 yd (379 m) against rookie Dominic Mazza.

Miller was brought up in Barnet, London where he still trains in both his local gym and The Shire Golf Club.

He is also a competitor on the European LDET circuit capturing four wins in a row (Belgium, Germany, UK, Slovenia). He missed out on a second REMAX title thanks to Tim Burke, a Krank staff member who hit a drive of 427 yd (390 m) to win the $250,000 and the REMAX belt.

Miller holds the record for the longest official drive in history at 560 yards at his local course in England in 2010.
